The week ahead

The working week ahead in Washington is cut short by celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday, but Inside Defense is paying close attention to further national security team announcements from President-elect Donald Trump's transition committee.

Monday

Trump is scheduled to meet with a broad range of people including, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), former Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R), former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown (R) and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R).

Tuesday

Army Secretary Eric Fanning is scheduled to host a "fire-side chat" at the Library of Congress about his career and the future of the Army.

Thursday

Thanksgiving holiday.
