This week's top event is a congressional hearing featuring all the military service chiefs, who are slated to discuss the negative impacts of a potential yearlong continuing resolution. The annual Sea-Air-Space conference will also take place.

Monday

The Sea-Air-Space conference begins and runs through Wednesday. The conference features several senior officials from the Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force.

Tuesday

The House Armed Services Committee holds a hearing with think-tank analysts on opportunities for defense reform.

The Senate Armed Services Committee holds a hearing with the chief of U.S. Strategic Command.

The Senate Armed Services Committee holds a closed hearing on cyber threats.

The Defense Innovation Board will meet to discuss the potential for a secure global data repository.

Wednesday

The House Armed Services Committee will hold a hearing with all the military service chiefs to discuss the impacts of a potential yearlong CR.

The House Armed Services readiness subcommittee will hold a hearing on the state of the Marine Corps.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies holds a panel discussion on prospects for defense acquisition in the Trump administration.

Thursday

The Senate Armed Services Committee holds a hearing with the chiefs of U.S. Southern Command and U.S. Northern Command.

The House Armed Services oversight and investigations subcommittee will hold a hearing on the defense contracting auditing process.

Friday

The Center for Strategic and International Studies holds a panel discussion on U.S. missile defense.
