With Congress out on Easter break this week, some lawmakers are visiting defense contractors in their districts, and the Air Force Association is hosting a few breakfasts with senior service officials.

Monday

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) are set to visit Lockheed Martin’s Greenville, SC, facility to fly in the T-50A fighter training aircraft and discuss the potential economic benefits to the area. The T-50A is Lockheed’s proposal for the Air Force’s T-X competition.

Wednesday

Lt. Gen. Mark Nowland, the Air Force’s deputy chief of staff for operations, is scheduled to speak at a breakfast held at the Air Force Association.

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein is set to appear at the Heritage Foundation to discuss readiness, modernization, end strength and the nuclear force.

David Hoffman, deputy general counsel for the Defense Contract Audit Agency, speaks at a National Defense Industrial Association event.

Thursday

Gen. Paul Selva, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is set to speak at a breakfast hosted by the Air Force Association at the Key Bridge Marriott.
