Flyer Defense, a Los Angeles-based company focused on lightweight tactical wheeled vehicles, has hired retired Army Lt. Gen. Eric Wesley as executive vice president of strategic planning.
Wesley, who started at Flyer on Sept. 1, previously was deputy commanding general of Army Futures Command.
"In his role at Flyer, the retired three-star general will facilitate the development of the company's future business plan and strategy, specifically supporting efforts with industry partners to shift focus to electrification and power generation," the company said.
