Work joins Raytheon board

Raytheon said today its board of directors has elected Robert Work, the former deputy defense secretary, as a director, effective immediately.

Work left the Pentagon last month.

Before serving as deputy defense secretary, Work was chief executive of the Center for New American Security. He also previously served as Navy undersecretary and spent 27 years in the military.
