The Oct. 1, 2010, Army Common Operating Environment Architecture "defines the COE and computing environments, describes the computing environments' architecture and services, specifies COE principles and the minimum technical architecture standards targeted for the Operating Force in the fiscal year 2013-14 timeframe and details a maturity model that will be used to conduct cost-benefit trades and to evaluate programs' alignment with the COE goals for Program Objective Memorandum 13-17." Also includes an Oct. 20 Army memo signed by Chief Information Officer/G-6 Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Sorenson and Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Malcolm O'Neill.
