CBO Letter On House's FY-13 Defense Authorization Bill

In a May 11, 2012, letter to the House Armed Services Committee, the Congressional Budget Office estimates that the panel's fiscal year 2013 defense authorization bill "would decrease net direct spending by $33 million in 2013, $554 million over the 2013-2017 period, and $44 million over the 2013-2022 period."
