House Appropriators Recommend $175M Increase For Iron Dome

The House Appropriations Committee has proposed nearly doubling the funding for the Israeli Iron Dome rocket-defense system in fiscal year 2015, but with caveats. In its FY-15 budget request, the Missile Defense Agency asked for nearly $176 million for Iron Dome; in their mark-up of the FY-15 defense spending bill this week, House appropriators call for adding another $175 million to the program.
