MDA Issues Draft RFP For Long Range Discrimination Radar

The Missile Defense Agency has issued a draft request for proposals for the Long Range Discrimination Radar program. The draft RFP was posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website on Aug. 8. In its fiscal year 2015 budget request, MDA asked Congress for $79.5 million to begin developing the LRDR system, including a dedicated $50.5 million project line that would cover a $13 million effort to study potential radar sites and $37.4 million for product development, according to Pentagon briefing...
