Navy To Issue First NGEN RFP By End Of Year As NMCI Carries On

The Navy has transitioned to a continuity-of-services contract with Hewlett-Packard to keep the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet up and running into fiscal year 2014 as the service prepares to put out the first request for proposals for the follow-on Next Generation Enterprise Network this quarter, according to service officials.
