The Air Force has a plan to secure its C-130J propeller production line after a fire devastated General Electric's Dowty production site last February. The Gloucestershire, England facility was the single-site manufacturer of the C-130J propeller, and during a March 19 Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, service officials said that at the time the Air Force had enough propellers in its inventory to keep the production line moving through November.
