Army looks to simplify WIN-T Increment 1, eventually combine all iterations

The Army is working to improve the user friendliness of an earlier iteration of the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical program in the hopes of one day unifying all increments into a simplified system. Lt. Col Mark Henderson, the product manager for WIN-T Increment 1, said Dec. 10 the Army is continuously upgrading aspects of the system, which accounts for approximately 95 percent of the service's communications "backbone."
