Army taps three vendors for Manpack radio testing phase

The Army on Feb. 26 awarded contracts to General Dynamics, Harris Corp. and Rockwell Collins for the delivery of Manpack radios, as the service moves toward narrowing the field of vendors for a full-rate production decision in fiscal year 2018. The ground service's radio program is a highly sought-after prize for the companies in the field.
