White House threatens to veto Senate defense policy bill

The White House Office of Management and Budget will recommend that President Obama veto the Senate Armed Services Committee's version of the fiscal year 2017 defense policy bill if it arrives on his desk in its present form, according to a 21-page statement of administration policy released Tuesday.
