DOD seeks approval to move $36.4M to mitigate SOF shortfalls in ISR

The Pentagon seeks congressional approval to move $36.4 million to U.S. Special Operations Command to purchase four systems that will be installed on unmanned drones to help enhance intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. The June 30 reprogramming request sent to lawmakers by Defense Department Comptroller Mike McCord seeks this money to "procure four Targeting Over Non-Accessible Terrain Outside of the Declared Theater of Active Armed Conflict (ODTAAC)(TONTO) systems for installation as government furnished equipment on MQ-9 aircraft."
