House hearing on nuclear deterrent modernization plans and budgets

On July 14, 2016, the House Armed Services strategic forces subcommittee held a hearing on "Nuclear Deterrent Modernization Plans and Budgets: The Military Requirements." Includes the opening statement of subcommittee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-AL) as well as the prepared testimony of U.S. Strategic Command chief Adm. Cecil Haney; National Nuclear Security Administration head Frank Klotz; Air Force Global Strike Command chief Gen. Robin Rand; and Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategy, Plans, and Capabilities Robert Scher.
