Army issues long-delayed draft request for proposals for SANR

The Army is asking industry to develop improved radios for its airborne platforms, according to a draft request for proposals posted Aug. 11 on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The service intends to integrate the Small Airborne Networking Radio into its AH-64 Apache, CH-47 Chinook and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters and the MQ-1C Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft system.
