Predator B drones detect, track ballistic missile target in Hawaii

A pair of Predator B unmanned aircraft recently detected and tracked a ballistic missile target off the coast of Hawaii, according to a General Atomics Aeronautical Systems statement. The two Predators were fitted with Raytheon-built Multi-spectral Targeting Systems-B (MTS-B) Electro-optical Infrared (EO/IR) turrets to detect and track the target as part of an ongoing program with the Missile Defense Agency.
