L-3 hires Davis

L-3 Communications said today it has named retired Air Force Lt. Gen. C.R. Davis senior vice president of strategy at its aerospace systems unit.

Davis most recently served as chief executive of Seabury Global Aerospace & Defense Consulting, succeeding Chris Kubasik, who left Seabury to become chief operating officer at L-3.

While in the service, Davis worked as military deputy to the Air Force acquisition chief. He also led divisions in the F-16 and F-15 program offices and was program executive officer for the F-35 Lightning II program office, according to the service.
