Army gets $24M to buy more Special Operations missiles

The Defense Department has shifted $24 million into an Army missile account to restock special operations forces with a small, loitering missile that can locate and defeat obscure and moving targets. On June 30 Pentagon Comptroller Mike McCord approved a reprogramming request to move the money from the Defense Security Cooperation Agency to the Army in fiscal year 2016 for 325 Lethal Miniature Aerial Missile Systems.
