Harris to divest CapRock Communications

Harris Corp. said Tuesday it has agreed to sell its CapRock Communications business to SpeedCast International for $425 million. The proceeds from the deal "will be used to pay down debt and return cash to shareholders," the company said, noting the transaction is expected to close early next year. The CapRock unit provides satellite, terrestrial and wireless communications for the cruise and energy markets.
