ManTech promotes Phillips

ManTech International anounced today it has named Kevin Phillips president and chief operating officer. He has served as chief financial officer since 2005.

In his new role, Phillips "will assume overall responsibility for the general management and control of the company's operations," ManTech said.

Additionally, ManTech announced that Judith Bjornaas, senior vice president and deputy CFO, will take over the CFO role. She was previously CFO at NCI.

The contractor also said today earnings in its most recent quarter reached $415 million, up nearly 6 percent from the same three-month period a year earlier. Profit hit $14.7 million, up about 13 percent from the prior year.
