Pentagon seeks CR exemptions for high-priority weapons programs

The Pentagon is asking Congress to grant stopgap spending exemptions, or "anomalies," for several high-priority weapons programs in the likely event lawmakers pass a second continuing resolution that would defer all appropriations bills into next year, according to documents obtained by Inside Defense .
