DCAA says it's made progress on backlog, but industry groups call for change

The director of the Defense Contract Audit Agency on April 6 contended the organization has made significant progress on its incurred cost backlog, but said the agency is suffering under the government hiring freeze. However, industry groups appearing at the same hearing before the House Armed Services oversight and investigations subcommittee argued the agency needs to consider changes.
