Simmons leaving House Armed Services Committee for Boeing

Bob Simmons, who has been staff director for the House Armed Services Committee for the past 12 years, is stepping down from his post and heading to Boeing. House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mac Thornberry (R-TX) said in a Monday statement he has designated Jenness Simler, the committee's deputy staff director, to perform the duties of staff director.
