Stackley: Navy delays Stennis midlife refueling by 10 months

The Navy has postponed the midlife refueling of the John C. Stennis (CVN-74) by 10 months after "realigning" its maintenance schedule, according to acting Navy Secretary Sean Stackley. According to the service's fiscal year 2018 budget request, the Navy will seek more than $5 billion in FY-21 to pay for the refueling and complex overhaul of CVN-74.
