Army aims to reprogram funds for SFAB communications capability

The Army is seeking congressional approval for resource reallocations to support its nascent security force assistance brigades, according to a document obtained by Inside Defense . A Sept. 11 reprogramming request signed by Pentagon Comptroller David Norquist aims to repurpose $107 million in fiscal year 2017 funds from the Army's other procurement and research, development, test and evaluation accounts.
