An Air Force "tiger team" is determining how to further cut acquisition costs, schedule and performance risks for the Presidential Aircraft Recapitalization program, according to service spokeswoman Capt. Emily Grabowski.

Staff from the PAR program office, Boeing, the Presidential Airlift Group and Air Mobility Command are poring over "dozens of ideas related to sequencing of the work, test methods, the airworthiness certification process, and documentation requirements," Grabowski said Oct. 23.

"The results from this assessment will inform the government's upcoming amendment to the engineering and manufacturing development request for proposal, Boeing's subsequent proposal and program execution," she added.
