Northrop Grumman drops out of Navy's MQ-25 Stingray competition

Northrop Grumman will not bid on the Navy's MQ-25 Stingray unmanned tanker program, the company's chief executive said last week. During a call with analysts, Wes Bush said Northrop "could not put forward an attractive offering to the Navy that would represent a reasonable business proposition." The company was one of four competitors likely to vie to build the MQ-25 unmanned aerial system, which will operate from aircraft carriers. The remaining potential bidders are Boeing, General Atomics and Lockheed Martin...
