House lawmakers' letter on submarine funding

On Dec. 21, 2017, a bipartisan group of 36 lawmakers that collectively make up the Congressional Submarine Caucus sent a letter to the chairman and ranking member of the House Appropriations defense subcommittee asking the lawmakers to increase submarine construction funding to match levels included in the Fiscal Year 2018 National Defense Authorization Act.
