SECNAV wants $800 million for artificial intelligence-based training

Navy Secretary Richard Spencer is seeking $800 million from Congress to train sailors using artificial intelligence. The money, which would come from the future years defense plan, would be used for schools, simulators and bridge uniformity, he said Jan. 18. "It's not a tremendous amount of money in the grand scheme of things and it has great leverage."
