Budget uncertainty may stall a contract award this spring to construct an F-35B vertical lift-fan test facility at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC, to support depot-level maintenance. Congress late last week passed another fiscal year 2018 continuing resolution, which expires March 23. The Marine Corps must award a contract in March for the project to stay on schedule.
