General selected to lead Army Futures Command

Army senior leaders have selected Lt. Gen. Mike Murray to lead Army Futures Command, slated to reach initial operational capability in July of this year. Multiple sources with knowledge of the situation say Murray, currently serving as the deputy chief of staff (G-8), has been chosen to lead the new four-star command.
