DOD's proposed rule change to reliability, maintainability in weapon system design

In a June 28, 2019 Federal Register notice, the Defense Department "is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to implement a section of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 that requires the use of reliability and maintainability sustainment factors in weapon system design."
