House Dems issue CR to keep government open

House Democrats have released a stopgap continuing resolution to keep the federal government funded through Nov. 21.

The House is expected to vote on the measure today or Friday. It will then have to pass the Senate, where lawmakers remain mired in partisan debate over spending money on President Trump's southern border wall.

The fiscal year for the federal government ends Sept. 30.
