BAE names Arseneault CEO

BAE Systems' U.S. business today said Tom Arseneault will become chief executive, effective April 1.

He will succeed Jerry DeMuro, who will become executive vice president of strategic initiatives and continue to serve on the company's board of directors. DeMuro has been CEO since 2014.

Arseneault, who is currently president and chief operating officer, has spent 22 years at BAE. He will be both president and CEO in April.

Arseneault previously was president of BAE's electronic systems sector and executive vice president of the company's product sectors.
