The chief executive of Perspecta said the company won't protest and is "moving forward' after the government announced it would once again award the multibillion-dollar Defense Enterprise Office Solution contract to a General Dynamics Information Technology-led team.

In a call with analysts this week, Mac Curtis said the company was "certainly disappointed with the original decision.

"It was a really frustrating acquisition process," he added.

The Defense Department and General Services Administration said late last month that they had taken corrective action in response to protests. As part of that action, GSA amended the solicitation, evaluated new quotes and once again selected the GDIT team. (The original award was made to CSRA; GDIT acquired CSRA in 2018).

Curtis said Perspecta is "not going to protest again; we're moving forward."

"DEOS is in the rearview mirror," he added. "Frustrating as it may be, frustrating as it was, it's basically done, and we are moving forward."
