The chief executive of Vectrus, which won spots on the Army’s Logistics Civil Augmentation Program V, said the company is seeing "demand from clients outside the Army to utilize the LOGCAP V program."

Speaking to analysts earlier this week, Chuck Prow said the phase-in period for the program has been extended because of COVID-19-related restrictions.

"We anticipate full operational capability of LOGCAP V tasks where we have incumbency by mid-next year," he said. "LOGCAP V tasks that represent new scope are also progressing -- but at a slower pace."

Prow said the company is speaking with other potential LOGCAP V users, including the Navy.

"In the [U.S. Indo-Pacific Command] area of operation in particular, the Navy is the predominant service," he said. "We're working with our Navy client to understand that contract vehicle, building some bridges between the Navy and the Army."

"We really like the shape of the emerging Navy opportunities that could potentially use the LOGCAP contract," Prow continued.

Meanwhile, Vectrus said this week sales during its most recent quarter totaled $352 million, down 2% from the same three-month period a year earlier. The contractor said the decline was mainly a result of pandemic-related deferrals because of base access restrictions.

Quarterly profit hit $10.4 million, up nearly 33% from the prior year.
