Austin pledges to include climate change review in upcoming National Defense Strategy

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin today announced the upcoming version of the National Defense Strategy will include a review of the U.S. military's posture on climate change, a significant departure from the Trump administration, which omitted the issue from the 2018 strategy currently in place.
