Senate lawmakers seek new cybersecurity pilot programs and reviews at DOD

Senate lawmakers want Pentagon officials to develop pilot programs to disrupt adversary cyber operations, while assessing critical supply chain risks and reviewing acquisition of new cyber capabilities. The Senate Armed Services Committee voiced its concerns with the Defense Department’s cybersecurity posture in a report accompanying its fiscal year 2022 defense authorization bill .
