New Jersey lawmakers' letter on proposed Army cuts to Picatinny Arsenal

In a July 21, 2025 letter to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, thirteen congressmen and senators from both sides of the aisle, led by Rep. Mikie Sherill (D-NJ) -- who is currently running for New Jersey governor -- condemn a potential Army acquisition enterprise restructuring that would morph its 12 program executive offices into seven "Capability Executive Offices (CEOs)," and affect Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.
