Pentagon launches new cyber risk management approach focused on speed, continuous monitoring

The Defense Department has unveiled a new framework for cyber risk management with a focus on automation, speed and the use of continuous monitoring. The Cybersecurity Risk Management Construct is “a transformative framework to deliver real-time cyber defense at operational speed,” according to a Sept. 24 Pentagon release announcing the new initiative.
