Air Force Lays Out Plan To Reduce Energy Demand, Increase Supply

A top Air Force official this week outlined the service's energy plan for taking new approaches to reduce demand, increase supply and change the service's culture toward using energy resources. The service will spend about $6.7 billion on aviation fuel and $1.4 billion on installation support this year, Air Force Under Secretary Erin Conaton said. She was confirmed by the Senate on March 4.
