Time is running out for the Defense Department, according to Defense Secretary Robert Gates. As U.S. and coalition forces gear up for what promises to be a difficult and bloody year ahead in Afghanistan, this week Gates appealed to lawmakers to deliver a $200 million wartime funding bill to the White House.
