Army To Cut 12 Brigade Combat Teams, Realign Force Structure

The Army announced plans last week to cut 12 of its 45 brigade combat teams and redesign its existing force structure -- moves that will impact military installations across the nation and most likely drive the service toward fewer weapon systems purchases.
