Air Force Sustainment Center preparing for KC-46 maintenance plan

The Air Force Sustainment Center is working now to prepare a depot maintenance infrastructure for the KC-46 and expects a customized maintenance plan from prime contractor Boeing in November. The first 18 KC-46 Pegasus tankers are slated for delivery in February 2018, and Lt. Gen. Lee Levy, commander of AFSC, said the new tanker's heavy first maintenance check will occur in fiscal year 2019.
