Air Force on track for Space Fence RAA next month

The Air Force expects its new Space Fence radar will meet the required assets available milestone next month, after completing operational tests Nov. 7. The service expected to achieve RAA for the Lockheed-built radar in mid-2019, but its schedule was pushed slightly due to "additional testing" requirements. The December target is still within the program’s threshold, according to Space and Missile Systems Center spokeswoman Alicia Garges.
