Board Recommends DOD Increase Emphasis on 'Red-Teaming'

The Pentagon should create several "red teams" to challenge various military programs and warfighting concepts using lessons learned from recent wars, according to a new Defense Science Board study. A rulebook, or "best practices guide," should also be issued from the most senior echelons of the military to guide red-teaming efforts, a DSB task force states in the report.
