DOD IG auditing Marine Corps aviation squadron readiness

The Defense Department's inspector general began an audit of Marine Corps aviation squadron readiness earlier this month. The DOD IG informed the undersecretary of defense for personnel and readiness, the naval inspector general and Marine Corps Commandant Gen. Robert Neller of the "Audit of United States Marine Corps Aviation Squadron Readiness" in an Oct. 17 memo .
