DOD requests $141M reprogramming for Air Force One recap

The Defense Department is requesting a $141 million funding shift to ensure the Presidential Aircraft Recapitalization program stays on schedule for delivery by 2024, according to a document obtained by Inside Defense. The funds are needed for engineering and manufacturing development costs and termination liability requirements under a firm fixed-price contract with Boeing.
